Awards

As in the past editions, the Scientific Committee of JCM 2016 will assign a certain number of Awards to the Best papers that will be presented at the conference.
The assessment will be done both on the basis of the ranking that each paper obtained in the review process and on the basis of the judgement expressed by the chairman of the session in which the paper will be presented.
About papers presented in the poster session, all attendees at the conference will be asked to put a sticker on the poster they will consider the best. The poster that will gather the higher score will be awarded.

    First best paper

Victor Achard, Alain Daidie, Manuel Paredes and Clément Chirol. “Numerical modelling of the cold expansion process in mechanical stacked assemblies”.

    Second best paper

Gianpaolo Savio, Gianmaria Concheri and Roberto Meneghello. “Optimization of lattice structures for Additive Manufacturing Technologies”.

    Third best paper

Piedad Eliana Lizcano, Cristina Manchado, Valentin Gomez-Jauregui and César Otero. “Virtual reality to assess visual impact in wind energy projects”.

Monica Carfagni and Francesca Uccheddu. “Patient-specific 3D modelling of heart and cardiac structures workflow: an overview of methodologies”

 

Dissemination

At the conclusion of the conference, the Scientific Committee of JCM 2016 will select a certain number of papers and the authors will be invited to submit an extended version of them to the International Journal of Interactive Design and Manufacturing (IJIDeM), published by Springer.
